Bloody G -Where I Was Born (LTD 200 copies)

The first release in a series of concept 7" limited press records titled "The Outskirt Chronicles", created by the artist and label boss Bloody G.
Each chapter of the series describes a precise moment in the artist's life, moments that shaped his personality, ideas, his art, and ultimately himself as a human being.
The first release starts where all began, the birthplace of Bloody G, the city of Napoli, Italy. A city with many ups and surely many downs, both shaping deeply Bloody G's musical taste.
In fact, the artist attempts to describe in sounds and words (using a poem in Neapolitan dialect) the influence of his birthplace with two original tracks.
Side A holds the original mix, where the broken beat and African drums cope with clubby lead synths and melodies lines, a perfect picture of the Neapolitan outskirt where the artist was born: raw but with a soul.
The B side instead offers a reprise version of the original track with a more dubby and spacy vibe, to reflect the desire of the artist to voyage far away from his outskirt with energy and power.
two conflicted moods, that's what the artist experienced in his early artistic and personal life, but one of them will overrule the other with unexpected consequences.
